In order to hear sounds, you must meet the following criteria:
1 - AeroTone is correctly installed.
This is verified by ensuring you can open and close the AeroTone panel within the simulator.

2 - You have sound effects enabled
When opening the menu, you must see blue tick boxes next to the various categories to verify that you have sounds on. Within each category is a subset of options to pick from. Ensure that they are also on.

3 - You have volume greater than 0
You must ensure the sound settings you have turned on have a volume setting greater than 0.

4 - Sound Effects Are Dynamic and Played in Specific Circumstances
Some sound effects require certain circumstances to be met. You may only hear them when they reach that criteria. Some sounds are persistent.

Still No Sounds?
If you're still unsure, we recommend turning on the ATC options and enabling sounds within the region you are currently in within the simulator. After a minute, you should hear from ATC chatter. If this is the case, AeroTone is functional.

Therefore, you may want to adjust the volume settings either with AeroTone, your loaded aircraft, your simulator or your PC in order to hear the sounds to your liking.
