Installation Issues

The installation will depend on where you purchased Weather Preset Pro from. Please note which store you purchased Weather Preset Pro from before applying the troubleshooting issues below.


SoFly Store


Simply copy the correct Weather Preset Pro folder to your 'Community' folder.


Orbx


Once you have purchased through OrbxDirect, you will need to open the Orbx Central and locate Weather Preset Pro under the 'utilities' section in Orbx Central. You will then need to click the blue 'Install' button to initiate the installation process.

Contrail


You will be able to install Weather Preset Pro through the Contrail app. Simply click the 'install' button and follow any additional prompts. The application will detect the correct folder and install it into the simulator.


Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace (PC)


If you purchased through the in-sim Marketplace, you will need to click "Buy and Download". This will prompt you for payment. Once approved, the download and installation will start automatically. You can check this by the notification bell in the upper right side. Once installed, you will be able to find the presets under the weather menu both via the in-sim menu and from the world map menu. 


If you already own the product and it's not installed, you can simply click "Download" from the product page within the in-sim marketplace.



Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace (Xbox)


If you purchased through the in-sim Marketplace, you will need to click "Buy and Download". This will prompt you for payment. Once approved, the download and installation will start automatically. You can check this by the notification bell in the upper right side.  Once installed, you will need to restart the simulator or restart your Xbox console. This will clear the memory on your system to allow the presets to then appear.
