EDDV - VDGS Profile and Installation

Hannover Airport comes with a VDGS profile, thanks to using the Aerosoft VDGS tool.

You must do the following in order to get it to work with Hannover Airport.

Ensure you have the latest version of VDGS installed and the EDDV profile installed.

1 - Ensure you have Aerosoft One installed and then sign in. Download it here: 

https://one.aerosoft.com/

2 - In the app, click on ‘library’ and then ‘Dependancies’. Then click on ‘Optional’.

3 - Then ensure you have the following downloaded and installed:

Aerosoft Data Exchange Module for [MSFS2020/24]

Aerosoft VDGS Driver for [MSFS2020/24]

Aerosoft VDGS Model Library for [MSFS2020/24]

4 - Within your EDDV download file, you will find a folder called VDGS and inside a file called ‘sofly_eddv’.

You will need to copy this file to the Aerosoft VDGS download in your MSFS community folder:

MSFS Community Folder -> ‘aerosoft-vdgs-driver’ -> ‘airports’

Now open the simulator.

When in the vicinity of Hannover Airport (either departure or arrival), use the SHORTCUT key programmed by VDGS. This is typically:

LEFT SHIFT + V

This will show you the airport, plus then a list of all the gates that we have programmed VDGS support for. Simply then click on the applicable gate assigned to you and the display will then appear automatically.

For support or issues with VDGS, please refer to Aerosoft. SoFly cannot offer support for the tool itself.

ANY ISSUES

“Application Already Running Error”

If you get this error for Aerosoft’s VDGS when you load the simulator, click on ‘EXIT’ and then navigate to your ‘aerosoft-vdgs-driver’ folder. Double click on the application called ‘aerosoft-vdgs-driver’ to restart the tool.
