We have tried to make the installation process as easy as possible.
OrbxDirect / Orbx Central
If you have purchased Landing Challenge Pro through OrbxDirect / Orbx Central, you will need to install it directly through that application.
If you have any issues with OrbxDirect / Orbx Central, you should first consult the Orbx Central guide: https://orbx.to/central-guide
If you continue to experience issues installing through Orbx Central, please submit a support ticket with the following information:
- Purchase receipt information
- Where you purchased Landing Challenge Pro (OrbxDirect or Orbx Central)
- A detailed explanation of what the issue is
- A detailed explanation of what you have attempted to fix the issue
- Screenshots to demonstrate your point would be appreciated
SoFly or Other Partner Stores (Non-Orbx)
You will be able to install Landing Challenge Pro by copying the files to your 'Community' Folder.
COMMUNITY FOLDER LOCATION
For the Windows Store install:
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\
For the Steam install:
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\
Important: Windows 10 by default hides the “AppData” folder, so you will have to go to “View” in the menu of File Explorer, and select “Hidden items” so as to see it.
For the Custom install:
If you used a custom location for your Flight Simulator installation, then proceed there.
In our case, it was: F:\MSFS\Community
Should you have any issues, please submit a support ticket with the following information:
- Purchase receipt information
- Where you purchased Landing Challenge Pro (SoFly, Aerosoft, simMarket, FlightSim, SimShack)
- A detailed explanation of what the issue is
- A detailed explanation of what you have attempted to fix the issue
