How do I find a hurricane if they're static?

Good question.

We have given you multiple ways to find hurricanes within the simulator.

Option 1 - Be an explorer

We have given each hurricane a 'closest airport' ICAO code. This means if you load up the simulator and select that hurricane, then you can explore the surrounding area of that airport to find the hurricane.

Option 2 - Use a flight plan

For PC users, we have included 40 flight plans in order to locate the hurricane. From the World Map, you can LOAD a flight plan (included in sofly-storm/FlightPlan) to any of the included hurricanes. Select an aircraft, ensure the weather preset is correct and then go looking for the storm.

Option 3 - Use exact coordinates

To make things super easy, the user manual includes coordinates to each hurricane. You can see the guide here:

REMEMBER SOME HURRICANES COULD BE 1000NM AWAY FROM THE NEAREST AIRPORT
